North Bengal is a different world — misty hills, sprawling tea gardens, dense forests and a warmth in the air that's hard to describe. This 5-day trip takes you through the best of Siliguri, Darjeeling and the Dooars forests in one go.
You'll sip tea at sunrise with a view of Kanchenjunga, ride the Toy Train through the clouds, go for a jungle safari, and sit around a bonfire at a forest campsite. All of this with a group of strangers who'll feel like old friends by Day 2.
Meet at NJP by noon. Drive up to Darjeeling (3 hrs). Check in, explore Mall Road, grab some momos and settle in.
4 AM wake-up for the Tiger Hill sunrise — Kanchenjunga lit gold. Tea garden tour, Batasia Loop, Himalayan Zoo. Evening free on Mall Road.
Morning joyride on the famous Toy Train through the clouds. Afternoon drive down to Dooars. Check into forest resort.
Early morning jeep safari in Gorumara National Park. Elephant spotting, birds, deer. Evening bonfire at the resort.
Leisurely morning. Check out after breakfast and drive to NJP. Trip ends by afternoon.
